Okay so I've been a bit MIA and people have asked "whats up with the pics"... there are more to come, PROMISE.. But just so u can get your fix.. This weekend a friend of mine told me to check out "killing me softly remix" So i did of course because i write down a list of things i need to look up on the Internet as i get distracted and I'm on here for HOURS.. much like I'm getting distracted now... Anyhow; she told me this video was "TOO FUNNY" i was like yeah sure ill check it out not thinking it will be much of anything being that she is British and their sense of humor is a wee bit different than mine.. especially the fact they don't get sarcasm! anyway i check it out and I swear I laughed for 5mins straight and i only watched the first minute of this 3 minutes video...I don't think Ive cried this hard about anything in the last few years or ever..whatever I'm not sure but watch the video.

First off, I must say RIP to "bucket" curiosity got him today and he went to fish heaven... the pump wasn't on and he decided to try and go down... Flatmate has currently went into a state of depression:(.....Moment of silence....
Speaking of animals... I went to the market this weekend. Food doesn't get any fresher I don't think..

Obama to me really represents a symbol of change.. This is far from changing and moving in the right direction. There comes a point where it's not funny anymore.... I have a friend here in London that is Korean and I have truly learned whats appropriate and whats not.... Over here, her ethnic group is call "oriental" and she HATES it... her quote "only rugs are Oriental" LOL but it really goes to show you educating goes a long way..We joke and kid about things however; I know my limits as well as she knows hers. This picture right here is pure inappropriate. Not only are we calling African Americans monkeys but we are demeaning our President of the United States.. If that's what i got to deal with when i go home..I'm straight.. I'll stick here with the Africans..(although they discriminate against each other as well)..

What a Week!!!!

OHH what a week I have had! First off… This profession is no joke.. You really must have a heart of steel to be able to cope with the matters I put up with. As a social worker in the states I’m solely therapeutic so I mostly deal with depression, drug and alcohol issues, psychosis, anxiety,…the norm. Here I’m in front line social work; the kind that people stereotype social workers to do. .. in essence I safe guard children; which is VERY difficult. I still do the therapy but it’s not the glitz and the glam I’m use too. It’s not “come into my office so we can discuss how you are feeling” it’s more like “can you properly care for your child?”…SO with that being said; I had to remove a child at birth this week and it has to be the worst thing I have EVER done. It’s amazing to think that I had to be the one that introduced baby to world. First trip outside of the hospital was in my arms and not his own mother’s. It’s an honor that I can keep this child safe however; painstaking that this mother has lost that awesome opportunity. I have pain for her. And to think a group of individuals and a judge have decided the faith of a 3 day old baby… Sad...Amazing... Speechless...If only we could turn back the hand of time….. Right so enough of that! Hate to make people cry.
Second off..WHY do we still have snow and it ONLY snowed one day.. Last Monday! Do they not believe in salt… oh yeah.. they ran out…
Now for the actual purpose of this blog (photos).. LOL.. Jack and Jill went up the hill and came back with a package LOL his name is “bucket”. And Jack can't deny this birth (he looks JUST like Jake; clearly i been watching alot of "Maury")Although, the time scale doesn't match at.... Actually….. flatmate’s boyfriend brought her this… I except another for Vday.. LOL

I was just saying to my flatmate last night we get REALLY excited in Atlanta when it begins to snow... it can snow for two seconds and EVERYTHING is shut down. She was saying "yeah right" that doesn't happen in London at all... HA!!! no work today!!!!! first time in YEARS the buses aren't running.... WOOHOOOO
